Ilja Dragunov, the current United States champion, has a unique way of taunting his opponents. He refers to Tommaso Ciampa as a 'jackass' and often skips him during the weekly title open challenges. The jackass' plan seemed to work, as Dragunov, upon seeing Ciampa's actions, demanded that Nick Aldis book them in a title match the following week. And just like that, Ciampa got what he wanted. But the drama didn't end there. Tama Tonga made his presence known, hinting that he was next in line for the gold after Ciampa.
